May 23rd Education - "The Importance of Hiring The Right Caregiver"

Laurel Smith has worked in the Senior Care industry for over 20 years. She did marketing, sales, installation and service of PERS (personal emergency response systems) for ADT Security Services referred to as Companion Service. Included in her role was Quiet Care. Which was a motion monitoring system used to monitor seniors as they moved throughout their home to detect if there was a fall or no movement, that they had been to the refrigerator, rest room and by their medications. Laurel is currently the Community Liaison for Family Home Care and is entering her 10 year. She also is serving her third year as a Board Director of AZNHA (Arizona In-Home Care Association).
